Student Eligibility General Guideline *

  • Kindergarten – S1 Level*
  • 1st & 2nd Grade – S2 Level
  • 3rd Grade & Up (around 8+ students who can understand Hindi at home) – B1 Level
  • Above are our general guidelines for student admission however, depending on the child’s Hindi language skill level ( if Hindi is spoken at home and/or if the Child understands Hindi), HindiUSA reserves the right to recommend and allocate a student at a certain level that is in the Child’s best interest
  • Any particular class level can have kids of varied ages
  • * HindiUSA reserves the right to make a final decision on the class level of a student

On premise or online

  • Parents would be responsible to pick up and drop students from inside the school premise/ class room
  • Children are prohibited from walking out of school premise (for example heading out to parking lot, or temple etc.) on their own. Parents are expected to park and come inside the building to pick up the child

  • Parents must notify about the teachers in advance so that, class may be rescheduled depending on # of students  (at least 2 days advance notice is expected).
  • In case if none of the volunteer teachers are available then, parents would be notified ahead of time (at least 2 days advance notice is expected).

  • Prepara on for the class with accurate lesson plans and materials is key for classroom success.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and respec ul classroom culture.
  •  Collaborate with other volunteers at the St. Louis level and coordinators across the country and HQ team in New Jersey.
  • Communicate with parents as needed. Uphold all school policies and procedures.
