Navratri and Diwali celebration 2025

HindiUSA St. Louis hosted a grand Navratri and Diwali celebration on October 3 at the Hindu Temple of St. Louis Cultural and Educational Center, bringing together more than 450 community members for an evening filled with devotion, dance, and festive cheer.

The celebration began with a traditional aarti to Goddess Durga, followed by vibrant garba and dandiya performances that saw enthusiastic participation from people of all ages, creating a warm and family-friendly atmosphere.

“We are delighted to witness such overwhelming enthusiasm from our students, parents, and volunteers,” said Mayank Jain, co-founder of HindiUSA St. Louis. “Our mission is to build a community where families celebrate together and children take pride in their Indian heritage.”

The event offered a wide range of attractions, including kids’ raffle draws, face painting, balloon art, and fireworks, which added to the festive spirit. Food stalls serving authentic Indian cuisine and vendor booths featuring jewelry, home décor, and ethnic wear enhanced the cultural experience, while a professional DJ kept the crowd dancing throughout the night.

A parents’ raffle and fundraiser helped support HindiUSA’s educational initiatives and programs. “This event truly reflects the unity, energy, and cultural richness of the Indian-American community in St. Louis,” said Anshu Jain, co-founder of HindiUSA St. Louis.

“We are deeply grateful to all the teachers, volunteers, and families who made this celebration a resounding success.”
