HindiUSA was formed as a non-profit volunteer organization in 2001 by a few people who wanted to promote Hindi language at the grass root level. They felt that Indian culture, its sacraments and traditions are very much tied with Hindi, and by promoting Hindi the Indian 'essence' will live on in the younger generation.
In a short span of years, HindiUSA grew from 2 students to over 4,000 and from 1 teacher to now over 350.
Read MoreHindi is the second most spoken language in the world. HindiUSA is authorized to give The President's Volunteer Service Award to deserving volunteers.
